In 1994, at 18 years of age, Sebastian launched a part-time restaurant promotions company as a way to pay the bills and go to university. Through this experience he saw an opportunity to take what he had learned and promote the industries he had a true passion fo.

For a number of years Sebastian was involved in a variety of film acting roles and fitness industry promotions activities, culminating in his becoming Mr. New Brunswick and producing his own films.

In 2001, Sebastian teamed up with his current partner, Rodrigo Gutierrez, and co-director Kirk Pennell, to produced a documentary about his experience assisting a visually impaired friend turn from couch potato to bodybuilder. The project was licensed for international broadcast in tthree countries and continues to be viewed around the world.

In 2003 Sebastian promoted the Tidal Wave Film Festival, resulting in the most successful year the event had in its history to date.

Just prior to starting his partnership with PixaTale Media, Sebastian launched a TV series to promote INCHES Weight Loss. During this time he produced / hosted the Rogers Television series Body Quest. Rodrigo worked as a magazine journalist in his native Argentina before moving to Canada in 1994.

After his graduation at UQAM’s Television Program, he has dedicated himself to video production as cameraman, editor, and director. He specializes in documentaries about art, and his video La colonne sans fin, about Cuban installation artist KCHO, was featured at the Los Angeles Museum of Modern Art.

A former vice-president of the Board of Directors of the New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Cooperative, he has also coordinated logistics and venues for Fredericton’s Tidal Wave Film Festival since its founding in 2001.

He is currently a member of the Cultural Human Resources Council of Canada New Media Steering Committee and technical coordinator of Artsnetlantic at the University of New Brunswick.
